Episode 38 is available for da DeeElzzz. In this episode, Tom Badguy puts his foot down on Arkham Origins, the fellas discuss their viewing of Thor the Dark World, and listen to our utter disgrace for Iron Man 3. This and this, that's right, on our latest episode.

  1. Ok, I never played any of the ME games, but I understand the basic idea of why the ending is garbage. As someone who has not played the game, I feel awful for everyone who got screwed over. The dumbest part of this is the DLC will mostly likely be the "Oops, sorry we weren't honest with you! Please give us more money!" It's just laziness. And from the look of things, more and more developers are into the trend of releasing an incomplete game for $60 and give you the final piece for more money.

No wonder I refused to buy a console from this generation until I saw what the libraries looked like.

  2. Oh, I agree. I hate our current consoles as well. But, it was announced that the DLC for the extended ending will be free and that it will consist of more epilogue and cutscenes.. Though, I still find it weird that they can't stand by their final product.

  3. I beat the game a few hours ago and I'm torn.  I chose the "red" ending, and I got the "Shepard Lives" cutscene, but I'm still not sure what to think of it.  I'll talk about it with you a bit more on Monday, but I'm mostly with you about the closure thing.  I want to know what happened to everybody.

I will say this though:  The old guy telling the story is on the same planet where the Normandy crashes.  The moons are the same.  So whatever happens, the Normandy crash has a huge effect on the future world.

  4. So, are we left to believe that, since the Mass Relays are destroyed, that the people on that planet are the descendants of the ME team and they are just telling their stories? I didn't catch that, good eye, Kevin!

  5. I'm totally taking credit for your new interest in beer :-P Also you can just pop the cap with the paper still on it. I do that all the time on beers bottled like that :)

  7. I never knew that the color of the bottle affected the taste of the beer.  This is new info!

  8. Don't let the beer sit there 6 or 7 minutes? Don't worry about me I got that covered!

  9. I'm fond of Kronenbourg actually.  I definitely prefer it over others of it's type.

  10. Awesome, thank you. Beer be the guiding light, when all other lights, go out.

  11. You and my boyfriend would get along!  Hehe!  I'm definitely going to show him your videos because he's a beer fanatic! Thanks for teaching me something so I can look smarter about beer to him!  Great video!

  13. I'm currently into my "first 10 hours", but so far spending my time with mostly secondary missions. Well, that's the way I play rpgs. Avoiding the main plot for as long as I can, exploring around, etc. :P

I'll be sure to read your own take on the infamous Ending as soon as I finish the game myself!

Lots of little bugs and details that annoy a bit, but still a great game.
(for example, I found Alpha Protocol, a game most people either hated or ignored, much more free in the story decisions and elements, and plain more satisfying missions-wise)

  16. Woah! I didn't knew about this one :P

Very original stuff to have the ads at the end like that! XD

  17.  Awesome, thanks. I may look into it.

  18.  I'll be honest, I won't be able to actually read it until I finish the game (probably by the end of the week it's looking like), but I look forward to reading it :)

  20. Crimson is a great vampire tale drawn by Humberto Ramos worth looking into.

  21. Oh wow, really? I didn't know that. I only played the first Deus Ex and that was a really long time ago.

  22. You forgot to mention that it stole this ending from the Duex Ex games.
